COLUMN HEADINGS:
MODEL/SERIES - used to uniquely identify the product (Model) or a family of related products (Series).
OUTPUT(A/V) - the maximum short time output current and rated DC bus voltage of the device. Typically, the continuous output current is between 50% and 70% of this value.
FORMAT - Card: standard 3U high Eurocard; Housed: a boxed drive for wall, cabinet or stand-alone installations; IC: hybrid integrated circuit; Module: standard 3U high package for front fixing; Pcb: multiple ICs mounted on a pcb for integration with control circuits; Sub-rack: fitted with drive cards and/or modules.
INSTALL IN - Card rail: standard Eurocard rails or carriers; Custom: non-standard overall dimensions and fixings may prevent installation into standard hardware; DIN rail: rear fixing onto DIN rails in panels; Pcb: the device may be soldered onto printed circuit boards; Rack: mounts in 19" racks; Socket: the device may be inserted in a socket/carrier; Stand-alone: supplied in its own housing; Sub-rack: for standard 19" sub-racks; Wall: designed for fixing to bulkheads or panels.
TYPE - Axis controller: user programmable motion control of a single stepper motor; Drive rack: Drive cards in a 19" sub-rack for speed control of one or more steppers, with or without power supply; Driver: a device that powers a stepper and controls its speed; Muli-axis controller: user programmable motion control of more than one stepper motor; Smart driver: a driver that supplies power, controls position and has features for certain applications.
SUPPLY - AC: various mains supplies, with or without transformer, are possible; DC: the device needs direct current, often unregulated; AC/DC: both types of supply are accepted.
