COLUMN HEADINGS:

MODEL/SERIES
Used to uniquely identify the product (Model) or a family of related products (Series).

JZ/Jazz™: Integrated multi-lingual 32 character display and 16 key operating panel.
- GSM/SMS messaging, remote access and Modbus master/slave support.
- A low cost add-on com port/programming kit is required for serial communications.
- High speed inputs, real time clock and configurable I/O.

M90: Integrated multi-lingual 16 character display and 15 key operator panel.
- RS232 port
- High speed inputs, real time clock and configurable I/O.
- Expansion I/O is easily added up to 64 points (not M90-19-B1A).
Model specific: 4 PID loops, GSM/SMS support, CANbus port, amongst other features.

M91: All models offer additional features as standard to those in the M90:
- RS232 or RS485 port.
- 2 lines of 16 character display.
- I/O expansion up to 96 points.
- GSM/SMS and Modbus master/slave support.
Model specific: Temperature measurement, CANbus port, amongst other features.

V120: Integrated multi-lingual graphic and text display with 16 key operator panel.
- 2x RS232/485 ports.
- Ethernet via TCP/IP.
- GSM/SMS and Modbus master/slave support.
- High speed inputs, real time clock and configurable I/O.
- Expansion I/O is easily added up to 166 points.
Model specific: CANbus port, temperature measurement, analog outputs, amongst other features.

V230 & V260: Integrated multi-lingual graphic and text display with 24 key (V260: 33 key) operator panel.
- Text messages: up to 8 lines x 22 characters.
- up to 171 points.
- Two RS232 ports.
- Ethernet/additional RS232/RS485 port (optional).
- GSM/SMS support.
- MODBUS and CANbus networking.
- OPC/DDE server.

V280 & V290: Integrated multi-lingual touchscreen, graphic and text display with 27 key operator panel (V290: virtual panel only).

- Two RS232 ports.
- Ethernet/additional RS232/RS485 port (optional).

- MODBUS and CANbus networking.
- OPC/DDE server.

V500: Integrated multi-lingual mono or 256 colour touchscreen and graphic display.

- OPC/DDE server.


DISPLAY
1x 16 characters: 1 line of 16 text characters shown on a super-twisted nematic liquid crystal display (STN LCD) with yellow-green light emitting diode (LED) backlight.
2x 16 characters: as above, but with 2 lines of 16 text characters.
G nnn x nnn pixels: Graphical display (mono) measured in picture elements (pixels) programmed with free VisiLogic software and also able to display many rows of text messages.
T nnn x nnn pixels: Touchscreen and graphical display measured in picture elements (pixels) programmed with free VisiLogic software and also able to display many rows of text messages.

OTHER COMMS
All units support serial communications and have built-in GSM/SMS messaging (not M90-T), though some require an add-on port or adapter to achieve this.
CANbus: supports up to 63 nodes; Baud rate up to 1Mbps; 1000 metre maximum length for 24VDC networks.
Ethernet: enables MODBUS or open protocol commands to run over TCP/IP.

INPUTS
This is the number and type of input points that are specific to the PLC or I/O module. Not all units have the same range, ratings, resolution or accuracy - refer to the individual data sheets for more detailed information.
To add more, simply select from many types of external expansion modules prefixed with 'IO'; a low cost EX-A1 adapter is needed in addition to the I/O module(s). Multiple modules can be added up to the PLC/HMI's limit.
V series (Vision) models have the choice of 'IO' + EX-A1 or several Snap-in 'V200' modules. Only one 'V200' Snap-in module can be installed, though various combinations of 'I/O' + EX-A1 and 'V200' are possible.
A = Analogue: 0-10V; 0-20mA; 4-20mA.
D = Digital: either pnp (source) or npn (sink); high speed, encoder and frequency counters.
PT = PT100 platinum resistance sensor: 100ohm at 0°C.
TC = Thermocouple: differential; types B, E, J, K, N, R, S and T: -5 to 56mV; ±0.6V max.

OUTPUTS

needs add-on com port: does not have a built-in interface port and needs an add-on kit for communications. Refer to the individual data sheets for detailed information on the modules that are available.
no GSM/SMS: does not have the firmware or hardware support to enable these features.
no I/O expansion: does not have the firmware or hardware support to enable these features.
Snap-in or I/O expansion: I/O points are added either via a Snap-in module that clips onto the rear of the unit or up to 8 separately mounted I/O expansion modules. Both types are possible with a single PLC.
