COLUMN HEADINGS:
MODEL/SERIES - Used to uniquely identify the product (Model) or a family of related products (Series).
OUTPUT(A/V) - The rated output current at a given form factor/rated DC bus voltage of the device. Form factor is the purity of the output current, where 1.00 is pure DC and >1.00 reduces the available torque and increases heating. SCR types have the highest form factor and PWM types have the lowest; adding a capacitor (US term is filtered) reduces the form factor, as lower is better.
TYPE -
4Q: regenerates to return excess energy into the mains supply.
IIO: isolated inputs and/or outputs.
PWM: switches voltage and current at much higher frequencies than SCR types to reduce motor heating and to increase torque, speed and efficiency.
SCR: a low cost, variable speed drive that powers a Permanent Magnet DC and/or Shunt-wound motor.
SUPPLY -
AC: various mains supplies, with or without transformer, are possible.
DC: the device needs direct current, often unregulated.
AC/DC: both types of supply are accepted.
FORMAT -
Chassis: without an enclosure, for panel mounting or siting in an enclosure.
Housed: an enclosed drive for wall, cabinet or stand-alone installations.
INSTALL IN -
Panel: for siting inside a panel or cabinet.
Wall: designed for fixing to bulkheads, gear plates or panels.
